Injury & Spinal Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation and prescription exercises are heavily supported by scientific research as a longer-term treatment modality for the recovery of injury, back pain, or neck pain, or post surgery. Rehabilitation supports chronic (longer-term) conditions such as arthritis and degenerative disc disease because our improved muscle strength and stability help to support our joints and spine. You will be assessed and educated on the best exercises for your individual condition and how to follow healthy lifestyle changes to self manage as much as possible.
Pain Relief & Recovery
Massage, Sports Massage, & Joint Mobilisation
Fascia is an important connective tissue that covers muscle. Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilisation (IASTM), soft tissue mobilisation, massage, and mobility work may be used to help influence fascia.
Spinal and peripheral joint mobilisation and manipulation techniques may be used for areas that are stiff or referring pain. There are also many ways the therapist can recommend home self treatment techniques between appointments or if you need a remote appointment.
Dry Needling/Acupuncture
Used for acute or chronic pain and trigger point therapy. Following your initial assessment, a treatment plan will be recommended and discussed. You will have a choice in the treatment you receive. Dry needling may be offered to relax muscle trigger points, support the healing process, and reduce pain.
Yoga
1-2-1 Yoga
If you are new to yoga or after something more individualised then choose a private yoga session or 6 week package. Your first session will include a free consultation which can be done via phone call.
Group Classes
Face to face or online
If you are after something more interactive and cost effective, mixed level weekly classes are available. Suitable for men and women, beginners or improvers. Choose from steadier Hatha yoga, a more dynamic Vinyasa Flow, or something in-between. Please contact us for advice on which class is most suitable for you if you are unsure.
